Accelerated Success Associate Program

ASAP at LLCC is a 14-month, accelerated associate in arts degree program. The second ASAP cohort will start in May 2010. This affordable and easily transferrable degree is designed to cater to the needs of the working adult.

ASAP at LLCC is convenient. Classes are scheduled to meet for a 14-month period, on Monday and Thursday evenings, from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. in the Workforce Development Building on the main LLCC campus, 5250 Shepherd Road in Springfield. This schedule will remain consistent for the duration of the program.  Parking is ample and easily accessible.

ASAP at LLCC is practical. Students are encouraged to contribute their life and work experience to their classroom discussions. Coursework is immediately applicable to the working world. Students in the ASAP at LLCC program will gain experience with today’s cutting edge technology as these courses are hybrids, which blend the benefits of on-line learning and face-to-face interaction.

ASAP at LLCC is supportive. The program works on a cohort model which allows the initial group of students to travel through a set of pre-determined courses together for 14 months. As a result, lasting friendships are made and ultimately, the class will walk across the graduation stage together in 2011.

The ASAP at LLCC application process is unique. In order to assure student success, the applicant will receive individualized attention from the program coordinator and other appropriate support services offered by LLCC.

Financial aid is available for students who qualify and veteran’s benefits are welcomed.
