Selection Procedures

Following the application deadline date for each vacancy, applications are pre-screened for minimum qualifications by the office of Human Resources and forwarded for Committee review.

Screening committees are comprised of a peer level employee(s) and representatives from different employee groups (i.e. classified, professional, faculty, administrative). Those applicants selected for further consideration are invited to appear before a screening committee. Finalists may be invited for a second interview with members of administration as deemed necessary. Candidates may be asked to demonstrate their relevant job skills by taking a written test, operating required equipment, giving mini presentations and/or demonstrating computer skills.

All correspondence and search-related materials are maintained by the college's Human Resources office. All application materials submitted for review become the sole property of Lincoln Land Community College.
