Students who need or are entitled to financial assistance for attendance at LLCC will find help in the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office is responsible for administering traditional federal and state financial aid programs including grants, loans, and work-study. Students should apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Financial Aid Office also administers programs benefiting many students including veterans, scholarship recipients, students with disabilities, and farmers. College Illinois! is also administered by the Financial Aid Office.
Many programs administered by the Financial Aid Office have limited funds. Students who apply early have a much better chance of obtaining all the assistance for which they might be eligible. Most federal and state programs require students to be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester.
