We say that confidently.  If you start your college degree at LLCC, you will save thousands of dollars in tuition and fees as compared to starting at a four-year college or university.  Studies show that our graduates do as well, and often better, at four-year institutions than students who started there as freshmen.

Students can even get a jump start on college while still in high school. We offer tech prep and dual credit classes in many high schools that earn students high school and college credit simultaneously. 

We also have many students preparing for college coursework through our GED and English as a Second Language programs.  And for the sheer joy of learning, there is a wonderful array of non-credit Community Learning courses from which to choose.

ABOUT DR. WARREN:

Charlotte J. Warren, Ph.D. is LLCC’s sixth president and first female to fill that role. She joined the LLCC family May 1, 2006 with 30 years of teaching and high-ranking administration experience at research universities and community colleges. She is also a colonel and deputy commander for a medical command in the Army National Guard. Dr. Warren holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology, a master’s degree in psychiatric/mental health nursing and a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
