he public is invited to a performance by the Quintessential Winds Woodwind Quintet entitled “Winds in Motion” on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 8 at Lincoln Land Community College. The 4:00 p.m. concert will be held in the Trutter Center, and is part of the LLCC Recital Series. There is no admission charge.
Quintessential Winds is comprised of Greg Cohill, clarinet; Karen Strohmeyer, bassoon; Shari Randall, Oboe; Jan Marie Dungey, horn; and Scott Vogl, flute. The program includes such selections as “Suite for Woodwind Quintet,” “Trois Pieces Breves,” “Maple Leaf Rag,” “Pastorale” and “Three Shanties for Wind Quintet.”
