Federal Pell Grant
The Federal Pell Grant is awarded to help undergraduate students and provides the "foundation" on which other Financial Aid sources may be added. Awards may range from $555 to $5550 per year in 2010-2011.
Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
Awards range up to $500 per year depending upon demonstrated need, availability of funds, and the amount of other aid being received.
Monetary Award Program (MAP)
The Monetary Award Program is a state of Illinois need based grant that can assist students who are residents of Illinois in paying a portion of tuition and mandatory fees at Lincoln Land Community College.
Illinois Incentive for Access Grant (IIA)
Illinois Incentive for Access Grant is a state of Illinois program that provides a one time $500 per year grant to the neediest freshman students.
Federal Work-Study
The Federal Work-Study program provides on-campus employment for students while they attend college. Students who receive Federal Work-Study funds must:
- Demonstrate need to be eligible for work-study funds.
- Be paid at least federal minimum wage, but wages are related to the type and difficulty of work being performed.
- Work no more than 20 hours per week.
