Plan Ahead for Summer Term 2009

Summer Term 2009:  June 8 - July 30, 2009             

 

Planning on taking a summer course at Lincoln Land in 2009 and transferring it to a college or university in the fall?  Good idea!  Here is how you can plan ahead to make it happen.

Registration for summer 2009 classes:

Begins: 4/29/09     Ends: 6/8/09

Our 09 summer schedule will be available online from our homepage http://www.llcc.edu/ and in hard copy by mid March 2009.

  1. Admission to LLCC: 
    Submit an LLCC Application for Admissions online at no charge.
  2. Course transferability:
    Review your course options with your Advisor at your institution to verify transferability and compatability with your degree requirements.  To view detailed course descriptions, prerequisites and IAI numbers from the current LLCC catalog. Course descriptions in alph order begin on page 244 (246/404). 
  3. Pre-requisites and your transcripts:
    If the course you are considering has a prerequisite you have completed at your institution we will require verification of such before you may register.  Please forward your transcript (student copy acceptable) identifying the course that meets our prerequisite along with a notation listing the LLCC course(s) you plan to enroll in.  Transcripts received without an explanation of intent, or if application for admission has not been made, will not be processed. Make sure your name is on your transcript and please forward your transcript and appropriate information to:

    Note: Fax operational on weekends / shut down for college breaks and holidays
  4. Course Registration:
    Register for your summer 2009 course(s) on or after 4/29/09 in person at any LLCC location or by phone 1-800-727-4161 ext. 62292.
