Fall 2024, spring 2025, summer 2025

  • All District 526 residents under age 65 – $140 per credit hour
  • All District 526 residents age 65 and over who verify their age with Registration Services – Tuition free (academic credit courses only)
  • Out-of-district residents with chargeback authorization – $140 per credit hour
  • Out-of-district residents within Illinois without chargeback authorization – $280 per credit hour
  • Out-of-state and foreign residents – $420 per credit hour
  • LLCC Truck Driver Training program – $4,500 

Some courses have a variable tuition rate in excess of the standard in-district tuition rate. Variable tuition rates for the specific programs and courses listed below will be applied per credit hour, in addition to the standard in-district tuition rate. Amounts stated are those in effect at publication date and are subject to board review.

  • Agri-Business Management (ABM) sections – $35.00 per credit hour
  • Agriculture (AGR) sections – $35.00 per credit hour
  • Agri-Fertilizer Operations (AFO) sections – $35.00 per credit hour
  • Art (ART) sections, except ART 101, 110, 204, 205, 208 and 290 – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Associate Degree Radiography (RAD) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Automotive Technology (AUT) sections, except AUT 210 – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Aviation (AVI) sections – $210.00 per credit hour
  • Building Maintenance (BDM) sections, except 208 – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Cardiovascular Sonography (CVS) sections- $140.00 per credit hour
  • Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) sections – $35.00 per credit hour
  • Culinary Arts (CLA) sections, except CLA 100 and 260 – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Diesel Technologies (DET) sections, except 204 and 207 – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (ARH) sections, except ARH 210 and 220 – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Horticulture/Landscape Design/Turf Management (HRT) sections – $35.00 per credit hour
  • Integrated Media Design (IMD) – $70.00 per credit hour
  • Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Practical Nursing (PCN) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Respiratory Care (RCP) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Surgical Technology (SGT) sections – $140.00 per credit hour
  • Welding (WEL) sections, except WEL 102 and 135 – $70.00 per credit hour

There is an additional charge for online and open-entry courses – $20 per credit hour

Activity fee

The activity fee is collected by the college and distributed by the Student Government Association. The activity fee provides opportunities for participation in many cultural events, special events and campus activities through student clubs, organizations and the Student Life Office. Rates are:

  • Activity fee: $2 per credit hour
  • In-district residents, age 65 or older: No activity fee charge

Classroom support/technology fee

  • $10.50 per credit hour

Infrastructure fee

  • $3.50 per credit hour

Other course fees

Fees stated are those in effect at publication date and are subject to board review.

  • Golf Courses (ESS 107) have a course fee of $30 per class
  • Bowling Courses (ESS 103) have a course fee of $30 per class
  • Physical Conditioning Courses (ESS 112) have a course fee of $50 per class
  • Strength Training Courses (ESS 113) have a course fee of $50 per class
  • Electrical Distribution Lineman courses (EDL) have an additional course fee.
    • Beginning in the fall 2022 semester, classes with 2.0 credit hours will have a course fee of $512 and classes with 3.5 credit hours will have a course fee of $1,021.
    • Beginning in the fall 2023 semester, classes with 1.5 credit hours will have a course fee of $384, classes with 2.0 credit hours will have a course fee of $512, classes with 3.0 credit hours will have a course fee of $768 and classes with 3.5 credit hours will have a course fee of $1,021.
  • Private applied Music Courses (MUS 131, 132, 133, 231, 232, 233) have a private applied music fee of $250 per credit hour.

Some Workforce Institute programs have a cost for tools.

  • Transcripts, unofficial: No charge
  • Transcripts, official: Fee paid to Parchment
  • Graduation application: No charge
  • Commencement participation: Contact LLCC Bookstore at 217-786-2456 to order (cap, gown, tassel)
  • Proficiency test: $20 per test
  • Proficiency credit: $50 per course
  • External licensing certification: $50 per course

  • Late registration fee (after session begins): $20
  • Returned check service fee: $15
  • Library overdue charge: $10
