How has Lincoln Land Community College impacted your life?
LLCC allowed me to move my career to the “next level.” LLCC helped ME be a better ME!
What have been some obstacles you have had to overcome in pursuit of your educational and/or career goals?
I started a family early in life. For years I was a single mom. At the time, working to put food on the table was a priority over education.
What is your greatest accomplishment(s)?
As of right now, my greatest professional accomplishment, hands down, is opening a new Edward Jones office in the community, from scratch “the old fashion way”.
Was there a professor, advisor, staff member or fellow student who made an impression on you or helped you when you were here at LLCC?
I want to say everyone (professors, advisors, staff members and fellow students alike) made an impression on me in a positive manner. That being said, Professor Marty Morris, left an imprint on my soul!
Who or what has served as a source of inspiration for you?
My children inspire me to get up every time I get knocked down.
What advice do you have for current or future LLCC students?
Always want to be a better YOU!
What did you like about LLCC or what is your favorite LLCC memory?
I love the lifetime friendships that I made. I hope my daughter will be able to experience LLCC some day too!
