Local business representatives who serve on LLCC program advisory committees are liaisons — representing business, industry, labor and the state’s educational systems  — for the purpose of creating a highly skilled and readily available workforce critical to the success of the industries in this community. Community involvement in the ongoing development and implementation of strategies promotes a robust industry and can have a significant impact on the economic and workforce development of this area.
