Honors students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and take at least one honors course per academic year to remain in the Honors Program. Students can register for an honors course or complete an Honors Program contract. Honors courses have "HH" in the section number.

All honors students must take HUM-112-HH, preferably during the first fall semester in the program.

Completion

Honors students are required to complete a minimum of five honors courses totaling at least 15 hours to finish the program. In order to earn honors credit, students must receive a grade of "C" or higher in an honors-designated course. Students may also contract a non-honors class with an instructor to acquire honors credit.
