Academic success plan

You will meet with the TRIO Retention Specialist to develop a four-semester plan for achieving your academic goals. The TRIO Retention Specialist will help you choose courses to complete your LLCC degree requirements and meet the requirements of the four-year college or university to which you plan to transfer.

Academic check-ins

You will work with the TRIO Retention Specialist and the TRIO Academic Support Specialist the entire time you attend LLCC — from registration to graduation — to carry out your academic success plan.

Financial assistance

You will receive personal assistance in applying for financial aid and be invited to various workshops on financial aid and financial literacy.

Career counseling

The TRIO Retention Specialist will help you discover your strengths, set goals and choose a career pathway.

Tutoring

The TRIO Academic Support Specialist will help you get connected to tutoring services and other academic support resources at LLCC.

Transfer assistance

LLCC TRIO staff will help you explore options and decide which four-year college or university might be best for you and then assist you with the transfer process. You will also have the opportunity to visit college and university campuses to see if they fit your academic and career goals.
