Employment and education:
Pam is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner. She is retired from Kerber, Eck & Braeckel (Springfield). She earned her Associate in Arts, liberal arts from LLCC, her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Sangamon State University and her Master of Arts in accounting from University of Illinois, Springfield.
How has Lincoln Land Community College impacted your life?
LLCC provided a solid foundation going forward to complete my bachelor and master degrees.
What have been some obstacles you have had to overcome in pursuit of your educational and/or career goals?
Going to school as a single, working mom had its challenges. Early on, finances were very tight.
What is your greatest accomplishment(s)?
Hopefully, yet to come!
Was there a professor, advisor, staff member or fellow student who made an impression on you or helped you when you were here at LLCC?
Dr. Roberts – loved his classes!
Who or what has served as a source of inspiration for you?
My faith has always been my strength through every path. Also, my family has been so supportive.
What advice do you have for current or future LLCC students?
Use the resources provided for you.
Be involved on campus.
Give back.
What did you like about LLCC or what is your favorite LLCC memory?
The professors cared about the students and were always available.
Is there anything else that you would like to share?
I first enrolled at LLCC when in the temporary facilities (first classes at LLCC), and it is so great to see the beautiful campus today!
