The Center for Academic Success’s FREE Smart Start Seminar will provide you with successful study tools to help you get a smart start to your new semester.

All seminars cover the same topics. Register for the day and time that works best for you!

- Mon., Aug. 26, 6-6:50 p.m. online in Microsoft Teams
- Tue., Aug. 27, 11-11:50 a.m. on main campus, Sangamon Hall, Room 0102 (lower level of library)
- Tue., Aug. 27, 6-6:50 p.m. online in Microsoft Teams
- Wed., Aug. 28, 12-12:50 p.m. on main campus, Sangamon Hall, Room 0102 (lower level of library)
- Thu., Aug. 29, 6-6:50 p.m. online in Microsoft Teams
Note: A stable internet connection, webcam and microphone are required to participate in online seminars. Prior to the seminar, you will be emailed instructions on how to access the online meeting room.
Canvas Self-Guided Smart Start Seminar
The Self-Guided Smart Start Seminar in Canvas allows students to work through each of the seminar modules at their own pace. This is a great option for students who are unable to attend the live seminars listed above. Modules will be open to students Monday, Aug. 26 through Tuesday, Sept. 2. Registration is required.
