Certified Crop Advisor Training

The CCA Exam Prep course will help a prospective certified crop advisor (CCA) develop a greater understanding of how to develop a crop advising philosophy and how to implement recommendations for improved crop development, while minimizing risk and environmental impact. This course will provide a road map for how a student should study for the CCA exam, along with connecting key concepts to real world examples.

Classroom training 

  • Jan. 23, 2025, 1-4 p.m.

  • Jan. 24, 2025, 8 a.m.-noon

In the event of inclement weather, alternative dates have been scheduled for Jan. 30 & 31. Participants will be notified should such a change be necessary.

Location

LLCC Kreher Agricultural Center, Rooms 1115 and 1117

Field training

The two-day field training will take place between July 31 and Aug. 8. Exact dates will be determined during classroom training.

CEUs

Total of 12.5 CEUs for Certified Crop Advisors (7.5 during classroom training & 5 during field training)

Registration information

  • $1500 for all four days of training

  • Deadline to register and pay or cancel and receive a refund : Jan. 9, 2025
