How to Effectively Use Stretching in Massage Therapy

Elevate your practice with practical insights to enhance client well-being through effective stretching techniques. This dynamic course seamlessly blends lecture, hands-on demonstration and interactive massage/stretching trade sessions to ensure a holistic learning experience. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, participants will leave equipped with the skills and insights needed to enhance their clients' well-being through targeted stretching techniques.

  • Registration fee is $99. (There will be a 45-minute break for lunch; lunch is not included.)

About the Instructor

Michael Kirchgesner's journey is a testament to his commitment to holistic wellness and the betterment of those around him. Once on the path to become a doctor of physical therapy, he discovered the fascinating world of massage therapy. Kirchgesner graduated as a massage therapist at the top of his class in 2013. In addition to being an LMT, Michael also has an associate degree in health science and a bachelor's degree in business administration with a pre-med minor.  

 In 2015, he opened MK Sports Massage. His specialization in sports massage allows him to play a vital role in an athlete’s “team” by assisting in their recovery and wellness journey.  

Kirchgesner is an expert in many massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, cupping, bamboo fusion and others. By 2022, Michael added the titles of NCBTMB certified professional and CEU provider to his credentials, amplifying his vision of elevating the massage therapy industry. Beyond his professional achievements, Michael's personal triumph over cancer fuels his drive to give back.
