Program Highlights
The DiSC personal assessment tool is used by millions of people to help improve teamwork, communication and productivity in the workplace. This program includes one in-person, four-hour training and a subsequent one-hour, small group coaching session.
- Participants learn key elements in working most effectively with colleagues, coworkers and clients including style differences in work, communication and leadership; the strengths of each style; and challenges and opportunities for each style.
- Small group coaching can dramatically reduce the “Forgetting Curve.” Research has shown that combining training with coaching increases training “stickiness” significantly and cultivates behavioral change by as much 55% and in some cases as high as 88%.
- At the end of the training workshop, participants are given “fieldwork” that they are to apply in their work settings. One-to-two weeks after the training, the group meets in small groups to discuss their experience with the fieldwork. In the small group coaching sessions, participants share learnings and challenges that emerge when applying the concepts and the impact of application on their professional, leadership and team effectiveness.
- Small group sessions are limited to 5-7 people and last 45 minutes to one hour each. The purpose is to allow organizations to bring team members together that have participated in the training to discuss how they are applying the training and debrief learnings.
Dates
Participants can choose from:
- Tuesday, Jan. 28, 8 a.m. to noon, OR
- Wednesday, Feb. 5, noon to 4 p.m.
The small group coaching sessions will be scheduled closer to each training date.
