Program Highlights
The Small Business Leadership Development Bootcamp aims to reduce employee turnover and improve leadership and team effectiveness for small businesses. The program provides core leadership development training for leaders, but unlike most training programs, it also provides ongoing small group and one-on-one leadership coaching throughout the duration of the program. Through ongoing coaching and review, participants learn how to immediately apply the skills they are developing in the classroom. This program is for you if you can answer yes to four or more of the following:
- You’re not sure how to align your team.
- Your team members may be moving forward, but in different directions.
- You can’t trust your team to deliver on what is needed/expected.
- You avoid giving feedback to your staff.
- You do give feedback; but nothing changes, or the other person gets defensive.
- You don’t ask for feedback.
- You have high turnover on your team.
- You feel like you are constantly putting out fires.
- You and your team struggle to set achievable goals.
- You struggle to deliver meaningful performance evaluations to employees.
- You’ve had little or no leadership development training or coaching.
- You know you could be a better leader if you just had a few key tools.
- You are stressed because you feel that you are not measuring up as a leader for your team or your organization.
- You are not sure what specific skills and behaviors make a “good” leader.
- You are ready to make a commitment to significantly improve your leadership effectiveness.

Program Schedule
From September 2024-February 2025 you will complete the following each month, with a recognition ceremony in March. Trainings take place at LLCC
- Three hours of in-person classroom training per month on essential leadership topics, giving you practical, actionable road maps and resources so that you can immediately apply what you learn. When applying, you will select a preference of Tuesday mornings or Thursday afternoons.
- One hour each month small group (5-7 people) coaching/leadership master mind — either in person or virtual in which you learn from fellow leaders, and discuss applications from the learnings and key takeaways from each session.
- Thirty minutes each month one-to-one coaching with a certified professional leadership coach — virtual. Each leader’s challenges are different. The one-to-one coaching gives you the opportunity to get personalized coaching on specific challenges that you are facing in your leadership journey.
