The purpose of National Alliance on Mental Illness On Campus (NAMI On Campus) is to help students on campus recognize the importance of mental health and improving it for themselves and their peers through education and advocacy. In addition, members will provide support and encouragement to the LLCC community as these are essential for improving wellness and quality of life for all persons, particularly those affected by mental illness.
The club will operate in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. As a campus chapter, the club will have access to their resources and expertise.
