SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students are invited to participate in the Campus Cruise April 21, 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Land Community College’s Springfield campus to learn more about the college’s programs, services and facilities.
Participants can take a tour of campus from their cars, accessing videos on their smartphones at various stops along the way. A map of the driving route and videos for each stop are available at www.llcc.edu/campus-cruise.
At one of the stops, participants will receive a packet of information, college swag and treats prepared by LLCC Hospitality and Culinary Arts. Prospective students who also complete an information request form on www.llcc.edu/discover-llcc will get a free T-shirt that they can pick up at the cruise.
As a part of Discover LLCC events, the college is also hosting virtual information sessions for prospective students and their parents to learn more about the many transfer and career programs at LLCC and how to get started. This month there are sessions on health care programs – April 13, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.; transfer programs – April 14, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.; and short-term career training programs – April 15, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sessions are scheduled through July.
