LITCHFIELD — The Lincoln Land Community College-Litchfield Student Club sponsored a Thanksgiving food drive from Nov. 8-19 in which students and faculty collected more than 270 nonperishable food items. These items were donated to the CEFS Economic Opportunity Corporation in Montgomery County.
Classes competed to collect the most items for the drive and win a pizza or doughnut party. Communication 101 (Fundamentals of Public Speaking) taught by Niki Baker was honored as the class that collected the most donations. Sociology 101 (Introduction to Sociology) taught by Amanda Eaton collected the second highest number of items.
