SPRINGFIELD – Lincoln Land Community College’s Medical District location at 130 W. Mason St. in Springfield is now offering general education courses for the fall semester, in addition to short-term career training programs.

The new in-person courses are designed for the convenience of those who live and work in or near Springfield’s Medical District and are interested in taking foundational classes for a college degree. Students will also have access to textbook delivery, academic tutoring and lab space for studying and virtual conferences.

New course offerings at LLCC-Medical District include political science, history, communication, writing, art, English, math and philosophy and are available on a variety of days and times. To assist students wishing to enroll in these classes, Rapid Enrollment Days will be held every Tuesday through Aug. 10 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome; students can take a tour, talk with staff and get personalized assistance from application to registration.
