LLCC Academy of Lifelong Learning hosting fall kickoff Aug. 15

SPRINGFIELD — The Lincoln Land Community College Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) invites the public to its fall kickoff on Thursday, Aug. 15, 1-3 p.m. It will be held in the Student Union, located in the lower level of Menard Hall on the Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road.

With the theme “Explore, Engage and Enjoy,” those 50 and greater are invited to bring a friend and explore all things ALL at this free event. Short presentations will be provided on a variety of topics as program leaders and special committees will share what opportunities are being planned for the year. Light refreshments will be served. Parking at LLCC is free. Non-member registration is available by calling 217-786-2432.

The LLCC Academy of Lifelong Learning is a membership group of adults 50 and greater devoted to the lifelong pursuit of learning. With 10 to 12 opportunities available each month, ALL provides enjoyable experiences in learning with a variety of opportunities to develop new friendships.
