SPRINGFIELD — The Lincoln Land Community College Choir and Band invite the public to upcoming free concerts on Friday, Dec. 6 in A. Lincoln Commons on the LLCC-Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd.

The LLCC’s Choir, directed by Dr. See Tsai Chan, adjunct instructor of music, will present “Seasons of Life” at 1 p.m. The LLCC Band will perform at 7 p.m. Selections will feature student soloists and include medleys from, “The Blues Brothers Revue,” “Duke Ellington in Concert,” “Alan Silvestri: A Night at the Movies” and “Music for a Darkened Theatre.” The band is directed by Jason Waddell, professor of music.

Both LLCC’s Band and Choir also have upcoming performances in the community. The LLCC Band will perform Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. in the Concordia Village Concert and LLCC’s Choir will perform Friday, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
