SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College announced the 2024 royals during homecoming games on Wednesday, Feb. 21, capping off three days of activities.

This year’s LLCC Homecoming Royals Dane Foster and Olivia Marchizza were announced during halftime of the women’s basketball game. Foster is a business major from Sedalia, Missouri. He is a member of the men’s basketball team. Marchizza, from Auburn, plays on the women’s basketball team and is pursuing a degree in science. She is an officer in Phi Theta Kappa academic honor society and a member of the honors program.
Students were nominated for homecoming royalty by LLCC faculty, staff and students based on their involvement and contributions to the college, then selected by a vote of the student body. Other nominees included Isaac Barrett from Sherman, Kevin Ehorn from Chatham, Rayna Herzog from Springfield and Hannah Shoemaker from New Berlin.
