SPRINGFIELD – Lincoln Land Community College has named Kyla Kruse of Springfield as chief communications officer effective Nov. 1, 2023. 

“I am very pleased to announce that Kyla Kruse is the college’s new chief communications officer,” said Charlotte Warren, Ph.D., president of LLCC. “The experience, skills and leadership she brings to this role will undoubtedly serve our students and the college well.”

Kruse has been at the college since 2017, most recently serving as director, communications. Prior to LLCC, she was the communications director for the Energy Education Council and extension educator, communications and marketing, for University of Illinois Extension. Kruse earned a master’s degree in communication from University of Illinois Springfield and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Millikin University.
