SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College is offering a new, free Media Makers Camp for high school students and recent graduates July 22-25 in which students can get an introductory, inside-look at the field of integrated media design. The camp will be held at LLCC-Medical District, 130 W. Mason St., Springfield.

Morning (9 a.m.-noon) and afternoon (1-4 p.m.) sessions of the camp will be offered. Registration is available at llcc.edu/media-makers.

Over the course of four days, participants will get to explore the areas of 2D and 3D animation as well as video game design. The sessions will be led by Matthew Shaver, LLCC professor of integrated media design.

The free camp is made available through an Accelerated Training Opportunities in Manufacturing and Technology grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. More information about integrated media design at LLCC is available at www.llcc.edu/imd.
